Charcoal and pastel drawing realized in 2022. Here, in the background two head profiles are facing each other in sepia outline on a blue, gray, and yellow abstract surface. In the foreground, a weave of two green silhouette-like figures placed perpendicularly across each head and a horizontal, black silhouette-like figure crossing the artwork from right to left. The green statues are placed in an inverse position (one from the bottom up and the other from the top down).This sketch-like drawing is made with colored charcoal pencils on matting carton (1.5mm acid free) lending it a warm cloth-like feeling. This drawing is a sketch for a larger acrylic painting "Progression 1B" . It is a part of a larger series with the "Metal Figure" at its center.
